The Great Moalboal Quickie.

Being a beach person, I LOOOOVE going to beaches unplanned.

Well, "unplanned" really wouldn't describe it because my friends have been telling me to go with them the entire week before, but I was really adamant on going.

First, I did not have enough money. Second, the trip going there and back again will be TIRING. And third, if I am going to Moalboal, again, I would love to stay there for longer than a day.

Good thing I got slight cash advance from my sister, in which now I regret, because I will be her slave for the rest of the week. The things we do for fun, eh?

It was Sunday night going well into Monday morning when my fabulous gay friends and I were partying in Doce (again), drinking Long Island like camels from a long trek in the desert (pictures will be up soon). We met new friends there, Eric from Manila, and James who is a HOT Half Venezuelan Filipino visiting Cebu for F-U-N!

And then, the bells rang. Vibrated, rather. It was already 3am, and I still have to get ready for the Moalboal trip! After a hasty goodbye to my now drunk friends, I quickly rushed home to dump my things into my bag. A quick scrambling, and some rummaging, I rush yet again to Rap's house for the rendezvous.

Then after a bit of a walk from Rap's to the South Bus Terminal, we were now on our way to Moalboal. The scenic 3 hour (or more. I'm sure it felt longer) travel from Cebu to Moalboal then took a toll on me. Being drunk a couple of hours before, the urge to sleep crept in. Slowly, my eyelids dropped, and before I knew it, I was in Dreamland. Then my friends photographed me. (i HATE you NYM!! >_< )

My head then exploded in a hazy cloud of PAIN. I was already experiencing some mild pain a couple of hours before, when I was still at Rap's, so I took a tablet of Tylenol, but this was waaaaaay worse! Hangover was starting to show it's ugly teeth. So when the bus had a quick pitstop, I then rushed to a pharmacy to buy my Cocktail (a mix of Advil, Biogesic, and Neozep), chugged them all in with a bottle of water, then smoked a stick to relieve the stress that was building up. As they say, the show must go on!

By 9am, we were already in Moalboal Public Market. Since we already brought Rap and Nym's Marinated Pork, all we had to buy were the rest of the needed food and stuff... Which meant MOST of the stuff that we needed to bring. After the shopping, we boarded tricycles and headed off to Bas Dako.

After the grueling bus ride, the painful heat of the sun, and after paying twice for the entrance, WE HAVE TOUCHDOWN~!

Since it was approaching lunchtime, Abby then proceeded to grill the pork and the fish that we bought. GRILLING MASTER ABBY!

While Abby was grilling, Meynard, Eya, and Champ were preparing the fish.

Oh wait. they were just posing here.

And of course, Nym and Rap were having fun in the sun.

When the food was ready, we then attacked it with such ferocity.

Which left us tired. But no too tired for VIDEOKE!

And then we proceeded to go back to the beach for MORE PHOTOS!

And of course, you have got to admire the view.

With the sunset approaching, we headed back to the cottage for clean up.

And with that, our fling with Moalboal has ended. We were now on our way to the city.

The trip back to the city didn't feel much like a trip. It felt more like naptime. EVERYONE was asleep. Good thing I was awake when the bus got to Talisay for me to get off on the right corner. By the time I got home, it was already 8:30 pm. After a bit of Facebooking, I immediately plopped to bed. Woke up the next day at lunchtime. With sand in my hair.

Thank you very much to Rap, Nym, Champ, Abby, Meynard, and Eya for a fun and memorable trip. I really had a great time, and I'm pretty sure all you guys had a great time too.

Till next time!

Oh yeah. POST SCRIPT~!
