Belated.

This is gonna be like my catch-up (ketchup daw o. corney) post.  I was not able to blog for a couple of weeks due to laziness, so I will write about the stuff that I have been doing for the past few weeks on this post.

So where do I start?

I celebrated my birthday last May 3 with 100 pesos in my pocket. If you think that's pathetic, well it is. At least I had enough money to go home after the "surprise" party my friends put together. I was not even planning to go out but boredom took the upper hand, and well, the rest was history.

Here's me with them trying to force-feed me a shot of (one of the most potent mixes in Doce) Long Island. It's not even Long Island Ice Tea anymore. It's more like, Long Island EXPECTORANT.

AAAAND here's ME. And Kem, after administering the shot. See my reaction? Yeah.

I would like to thank the whole GH gang (Carlo, Joarc, Kem, Kenji, Jonathan, Charles, Ritchie, Mel, Francis, and I know I'm bound to forget some names SORRY!) for sloshing me on my birthday. Specially to Baste and Sam, you guys rock. Thank you guys! AND to those who greeted me THANKS! And last but not the least, my family. I wouldn't be here without you. Literally. So thanks! (Photos from Joarc. Thanks!)

I was asked by the Cebu Cosplayers Club to host their event this May 29 (it's this saturday!!) with the theme of Tanabata. And on last May 1, the CCC held a Prequel Event, in which I also emceed.

Here is me and Wee of CCC talking at length about the event and it's contests.

After the Prequel Event, me and Whyn obliged to some photo-op, as legit cosplayers are wont to do. And yes, it was really hot that day. I fail as a cosplayer. T_T

The event is named "Colors of Summer: Distant Stars" and is going to happen on May 29 (again, it's THIS SATURDAY!) and it is going to be held at the Talamban Leisure Center. I hope to see you guys there. And wish me luck so that I will not fuck up. LoL. (Photos from Maki and Joebert. Thanks!)

Last Tuesday, Camille, a close friend of mine from a company I used to work in, treated me to a dinner and movie. Along with 2 of my best gay friends, the four of us watched one of the funniest movies we have ever seen in our lives. Here Comes the Bride.

It was such a riot, with Eugene Domingo leading the parade. Suprisingly, Angelica Panganiban rose up to the comedic challenge, managing to steal the show a couple of times. Equally impressive were Tuesday Vargas, John Lapus who actually looked like Jett Pangan of The Dawn, and Jaime Fabregas with his "achieve na achieve" gay performance in the later part of the movie, which greatly resembled Dolphy's portrayal of Markova. Award! Unfortunately, the actor playing the husband-to-be  (I even forgot his name Tom Rodriguez. Thanks Google!) was drowned in all the brilliance of the actors around him. Well, at least he was soooo very hunk-na-hunk! Infairnezz.

Chris Martinez has carved a huge chunk of an impression in the movie industry as a writer and director, if I may say so. Brilliant. Sooo very nakakatawa! I swear sumakit ang bangs ko! (I hate you Google Photos for being a bitch. So much for photos from Here Comes the Bride. Thanks. On the other hand, Thank you SODEXHO! @Camille)

So yep, that's it. May wasn't such a boring month after all. Oops, there IS still a week left, let's see how this month ends. But in the mean time, let's go back to our regularly scheduled program. ;-)
